Philadelphia, PA (January 15, 2009) – allwebcafe, a full-service interactive marketing agency, was hired by Elsevier, world leading publisher of science and health information, to develop an Interactive Guided Tour and email marketing program.

A prominent feature on the company’s MD Consult website, the Guided Tour was built as a sales tool to support teams introducing new clients to the extensive MD Consult resource. In addition, the Flash-based interactive piece was also promoted through segmented emails targeting specific types of MD Consult users as an at-a-glance guide to the site’s best features for their needs.

allwebcafe created the theme and messaging for both the Guided Tour and accompanying email campaign. The “For Physicians Like Me” and “Clinically Clever Search in 60 Seconds” message is tailored for students, residents, clinicians, and specialists to find information relating to their specific medical area quickly and efficiently. The script, also written by allwebcafe, was customized for each section, and the team managed the recording and editing of the professional audio talent incorporated throughout the Tour.

allwebcafe created the look-and-feel, design, imagery and animations that utilize MD Consult branding and integrated into both the Guided Tour and emails. Targeted messaging with audio, easy-to-use functionality, and sophisticated visuals have worked in tandem to substantially increase MD Consult product awareness and subscription rates. The email campaign also had a very strong open and view rate.
